Author and developer of the “National Program for the prevention of major dental diseases among the population of the Republic of Belarus” (1998) and coordinator of preventive programs in the CIS countries. Founder and editor of the Dental Journal, the main scientific and practical publication for specialists. Author of numerous monographs, scientific articles and textbooks. Under the guidance of Professor Leus, more than 40 candidate’s and 4 doctoral dissertations have been defended. His students and followers work all over the world: Russia, Great Britain, Canada, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Germany.
